The Chandigarh Chapter of the Indian Yoga Association conducted a three-day meditation workshop from December 19-21, 2024, at the Community Centre in Sector 47, Chandigarh. Led by Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey, the sessions aimed to promote mental clarity and relaxation. Special guests from Team Heartfulness, including Sister Anju Khurana, Brigadier Sahota (Retired), and Smt Sahota, added valuable insights. Over the three days, the workshop attracted 32, 37, and 38 participants, respectively, who experienced profound relaxation and mental rejuvenation.
The sessions focused on the benefits of regular meditation and how it can be seamlessly integrated into daily life. Sister Sumati provided practical tips to make meditation more accessible and beneficial, while Sister Anju emphasized the importance of consistency in practice.
On the final day, Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey highlighted the necessity of incorporating meditation and pranayama in today’s hectic lifestyle, particularly for working individuals and homemakers. The workshop concluded with participants expressing their gratitude, followed by a communal tea session.
