The Ananda Chaitanya Meditation Center in Kurumbapalayam, Coimbatore, Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association was inaugurated with grandeur on December 20, 2024. The event began with the traditional lighting of the kuthuvilakku by renowned writer Jeyamohan, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge. Esteemed literary figures Shri Marabin Mainthan Muthiah and Shri Arunmozhi Nangai also graced the occasion, lending cultural and literary significance to the event.
The center’s founder, Shri Thillai Senthil Prabu, outlined the center’s mission to integrate traditional meditation practices with modern needs, addressing contemporary challenges such as stress and emotional imbalance. The event also included the inauguration of three skill development halls—Pragya, Sankalpa, and Tejas—by distinguished guests.
Over 100 attendees, including volunteers, coordinators, and members of the Solmugam Literary Circle, participated in the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and emphasized the importance of meditation in enhancing focus and efficiency.
