UPSCC organised a seminar to celebrate Teacher’s Day 

The Uttar Pradesh State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association celebrated Teacher’s Day by organizing a seminar at the local Bhagwat Prasad Memorial Academy, Shri Nath Vihar, Banda. Doctors and yoga teachers with inclination towards social service were honoured.

Shri Ankit Kushwaha, Coordinator, Chitrakoot Dham Mandal, UPSCC Indian Yoga Association also organized a program in which he honoured the yoga teachers who demonstrated on International Yoga Day and the doctors who helped. The chief guest of this program was respected Shri Dr. Nirendra Bahadur Singh, Divisional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Dr. SK Bajpai, retired pathologist, District Hospital Banda, was present as the special guest. The program was presided over by Shri Ram Lakhan Kushwaha, Founder Member, Bhagwat Prasad Memorial Academy. On this occasion, Shri Sajal Kumar Render, Central Zone Incharge (Uttar Pradesh) shared information about the activities of the Indian Yoga Association and introduced all the distinguished guests.

Dr. Nirendra Bahadur Singh inspired all the students present in the seminar to honor teachers on Teacher’s Day. In his address, Dr. SK Bajpai called upon the students to come forward and work towards the development of the nation. In his presidential address, Shri Ram Lakhan Kushwaha made the children pledge to take inspiration from great men and take their family and school to greater heights with their hard work.

On the occasion, certificates were awarded to yoga teachers Shri Purushottam Singh, Dr. Pitamber Singh, Shri Rajendra Singh, Shri Vipransh Yadav, Smt Shailja Tiwari and Ms. Pravi Yadav. Among the doctors, Dr. Shri K L Pandey, Retired Senior Cardiologist, Dr. Shri SD Tripathi, Physician, District Hospital Banda, Dr. Shri RK Gaur, Senior Orthopedic Specialist, Dr. Shri SP Gupta, Retired Ophthalmologist, Dr. Usha Verma, Homeopathic Medical Officer Banda, Dr. SK Bajpai, Retired Pathologist, Dr. Shri Nirendra Bahadur, Divisional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Banda were honored with mementos for their excellent services.
