Ingredients
Banana, raw, boiled and grated 1 (50 g)
Beetroot, boiled and grated 1 (75 g)
Carrot, boiled and grated ½ (30 g)
Coconut, freshly grated 2 tbsp
Ginger, grated 1 inch
Coriander Powder ½ tsp
Peanut Roasted 1 tbsp
Cumin Powder ½ tsp
Ajwain seeds 1 tsp
Groundnut Oil 2 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Method of Preparation
Boil the carrot, beetroot, and pressure cook banana for 2 whistles and set aside. Once cook, grate them. In a bowl add oil coconut, ginger, ajwain, cumin, coriander and peanut then mix the vegetables, including salt, and shape into tikkis. Shallow fry the tikkis in a pan on both sides until light brown in colour; enjoy with chutney of your choice.
