Multi-Lentil Dosa

Multi-Lentil Dosa Mungdal and Urad dal is a plant-based source of protein. They are good source of zinc, potassiuman vitamin B1. White rice is also a good source of mangnesium, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, iron, folic acid, thiamine and niacin. All these help in digestion, are good for heart health, help in stabilizing sugar

Ingredients

Rice 1 cup
Ajwain seeds 1tsp
Mint Powder 1tsp
Mungdal ½ cup
Urad dal ½ cup
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Water To grind

Method

Wash and soak the rice and the dals for 4-6 hours or overnight.
After the rice and lentils are soaked, drain the water. Grind the lentils with little water until smooth.
Add all spices and salt and mix well.
Heat a tawa and once it is hot smear it with some oil.
Pour a ladle batter in the centre of the tawa and spread it quickly into a thin large circle.
Pour a tsp of oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until the dosa is crisp and golden.
Serve with coconut chutney of your choice
