Sago Chila is rich in energy, gluten free and non-allergic. It has high nutritional value. It is less in calories, reduces weight. It is good for diabetic patients. It is high in protein, which helps in growth and maintenance of cells. It contains potassium that helps to control blood pressure. It is rich in calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6 and folate. It is a great source of protein that helps repair damaged cells and tissues.
Ingredients
• Sago 1 cups
• Samo rice 1 cups
• Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
• Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
• Sunflower Oil 1tsp
Method of Preparation
Soak Sago in water for about 3 hours and soak samo rice the overnight. Blend sago and samo rice separately. Pour both the puree in a bowl, add coriander leaves, cumin seeds and water and mix to a thin, watery consistency. Smear a pan with oil. Take a ladleful of the batter and pour it on the pan. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly brown and serve with any chutney of your choice.
