RV Institute of Management, Associate Centre, IYA has been encouraging its students to include yoga in their lifestyle. For the same, the Institute recently conducted ‘Surya Namaskar Challenge – MBA (2022-24) for the first-year students scheduled from April 12-April 17, 2023, wherein the students were required to perform 11 rounds of Surya Namaskar in 11 minutes by completing 12 asanas under Surya Namaskar.
The participants were evaluated under mentioned criteria i.e., rhythm, style, final posture in each asana, overall stamina, time keeping. The boy and girl winners of three different sections won exciting cash prize and competed against each other in the finale round.
RVIM is also planning to undertake outbound yoga practices and invite some yoga gurus for imparting sessions to our students.
