State Chapter Committee Meetings – March 2022 

UPSCC meets to discuss way forward

Uttar Pradesh State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association held a meeting on February 13, 2022 at Patanjali State Office. It was felt by the members that to publicize and disseminate the objectives of the state chapter it is important to continuously organise events and programs to promote yoga.

Accordingly it was decided that a one-day seminar on Management of Lifestyle Diseases through Yoga will be organized in Lucknow on March 27, 2022.

Further, in order to make the programs of yoga popular and dynamic, it was also decided that every Sunday, a yoga seminar would be organized in which topics related to yoga would be discussed with experts. To achieve the same Shri Ashwani Kumar State Coordinator (Media) has been appointed.

All the office bearers and members were requested to contribute diligently in publicizing and disseminating the objectives of the IYA in their capacity.

Gujarat Chapter monthly meet

Gujarat State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association organised its monthly meet on February 27, 2022. The meeting was attended by Acharya Birju Maharaj, Shri Kamlesh Udasi, Smt Mauli Bavisker, Smt Meetal Kotecha, Shri Rajeev Mishra, Shri Vikram Mistry, Shri Priyank Panchal, Shri Zeel Patel, Shri Nilay Mehta and Smt Hinal Halani.

Meeting commenced with discussing agendas and updates on membership drive. Smt Meetal ben offered Project Life’s lagee online platform where we can invite more than 100 people. Programme for Women’s day for Rotary youth and women’s wing to be held on March 6, 2022 was also discussed. It was decided that Shri Zeel and Smt Bhakti will coordinate with Rotary club members and Smt Mauli and Smt Bhakti will anchor the programme.

The team decided to add minimum 100 members by April end. The count has already reached 32. Everybody was urged to focus on March 8, 2022 event. It was also decided that a separate programme will be designed especially for new members by April end.
