NIRAMAYA, an Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), has recently signed three significant MoUs. These agreements were made with Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (Silchar, Assam), Modanmohan Trust (Tarapur, Silchar, Assam), and Pranavananda Vidyamandir Lumding, Bharat Sevashram Sangha (Hojai, Assam). Dr. Ravi Kannan, Director of Cachar Cancer Hospital; Shibabrata Dutta, President of Modanmohan Trust; and Shekhar Chakraborty, Principal of PVM, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, each signed on behalf of their respective institutions.
Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharjee, Chairman and Trustee of NIRAMAYA, signed the MoUs for NIRAMAYA, with Director Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, Advisor Benulal Barman, Kalyan Kumar Chakraborty, and Dr. Tuhin Deshmukhya also present.
On July 18, 2024, Shatakshi Bhattacharjee and Navaswati Bhattacharjee (Coordinator, Women’s Cell) met with Dr. Kashinath Samagandi, Director (MDNIY) and CEO (YCB) in Delhi to discuss yoga promotion and seek his advice.
They also had a meeting with Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General of IYA, and other officials at the IYA Secretariat. During this visit, Shatakshi Bhattacharjee was appointed as the Zonal Coordinator of IYA for the North-East. Additionally, NIRAMAYA conducted a workshop at Sapphire International School, Ghaziabad.
