In July 2024, the Mahatma Gandhi Yoga Institute, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu State Chapter on Indian Yoga Association organized a series of impactful events in Madurai. The month began with a week-long joint yoga practice, engaging 73 participants, followed by a one-day Pranayama session on July 7th with 55 attendees.
On July 11th, an intensive two-week yoga program attracted 85 participants, deepening their practice. A trekking event to Thirupparankunram on July 21st saw 150 enthusiasts connect with nature, while a special Guru Purnima meditation at Meenakshi Amman Temple drew 75 participants.
The month concluded with a two-day online pranayama class on July 28th, bringing together 30 participants virtually. These events collectively fostered physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth, making July a memorable month of holistic wellness.
