Ghantali Mitra Mandal (GMM), Member Institute of Indian Yoga Association has entered the Diamond Jubilee Year of its foundation. All at GMM are giving relentless and selfless service to society to make Yoga maximum applicable. On the eve of new year, a grand function of inauguration 75th class of “Diabetes Management and Control” at the hands of Dr. Vishwasrao Mandlik, of Yoga Vidya Gurukul Nasik. Shri Durgadas Sawant was the Chief Guest. Initially, brief background of the camps and the relevance was explained by Shrikrishna Mhaskar, Head of Yoga Department, GMM.
Subsequently, both the speakers explained the theme of programme with great details based on their experience in the field of Yoga.
In the month of February 24, online webinar on the topic “Natural Living during Acute Diseases” was organised. Expert in the subject of Naturopathy, Shri Durgadas Sawant gave excellent lecture explaining various intricacies in a very lucid manner.
The Diamond Jubilee year is planned to be celebrated by way of handling “Lifestyle Disorder” workshops for duration of three months each. Accordingly, the first in the sequence was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Lata Joshi, Mumbai handling the issue of P.C.O.S. The workshops are planned at three different places in Thane, with fair response from the participants.
GMM has be regularly organizing classes for people from various sections of society to promote yoga. During the day there are more than 15 batches at different places. The classes are conducted on hybrid module, in person and also online.
One year diploma is the specialty of GMM. Along with the diploma GMM also organizes course of M.A. (Yogashastra) under auspice of Kavi Kaulaguru Kalidas Sanskrut University (KKSU), with good response.
