Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote Yoga Education, Research and Rehabilitation at the Second National Conclave organised by Indian Yoga Association at Art of Living, Bangaluru from February 24-26, 2024. In the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Chairman of Indian Yoga Association Founder, Art of Living Foundation and, the MoUs were exchanged between Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General, IYA and Capt. Girish – TCS Corporate HR, Shri Aniket Kolee – Global head of TCS Yoga Council.

The Yoga programs in TCS create awareness among its employees and encourages them to participate in various specific short to long term engagement programs, resulting in increased wellbeing and productivity. Thousands of TCSers have completed their Yoga Certification Board exams at various levels. Many TCSers have graduated with Masters Degrees in Yoga.
This MOU fosters collaboration in the fields of Yoga Education, Research and Rehabilitation. TCS will avail services of expert faculties from IYA member organizations for its programs. TCS will promote Yoga education including certification and degree programs. TCS will promote rehabilitation programs offered by IYA member organizations to promote well-being using Yoga, Naturopathy, Ayurveda and allied sciences. As the workplace gets impacted by lifestyle disorders, together TCS and IYA aim to harness the well-being of workforce through Yoga and create well-being focused organization of the future.
