The Tamil Nadu State Chapter Committee (SCC) of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), in collaboration with Shri N. Elumalai of Rangarajapuram SKY Trust, successfully conducted the closing ceremony of the Free Summer Yoga Classes for Children at the Ashok Nagar Anjaneyar Temple, Chennai.
Held from May 19 to 29, 2025, the program was organized for children aged 5 to 16 as a prelude to the 11th International Day of Yoga. During the valedictory function, Dr. S. Kalaichelvi, Vice President of the Trust, extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
The Chief Guest, Gnanasiriyar G. Jayaraman, Managing Trustee of the Trust, addressed the gathering and emphasized the vital role of yoga in shaping the health and discipline of young minds. PhD Scholar at MAHER and IYA Life Member, Gnanasiriyar N. Elumalai, delivered the vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and gifts to all participating children, marking a joyful end to a meaningful initiative.
