The Madhya Pradesh State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association on August 11, 2024, convened a meeting with 24 attendees to address key initiatives and decisions aimed at enhancing the chapter’s activities and expanding its reach across the state. The meeting resolved to establish district committees in each district of Madhya Pradesh to improve local representation and coordination. It was decided that all office bearers of the state chapter will be required to obtain life membership of the IYA to align with the association’s guidelines and commitment. Furthermore, the chapter agreed to ensure the incorporation of IYA in all state yoga events to reinforce its presence and contribution to yoga promotion.
Regular monthly meetings will be held on the 1st of every month to discuss progress and address ongoing matters. A formal meeting register will be maintained and updated regularly to document all proceedings and decisions. The meeting commenced with the chanting of mantras and concluded with the recitation of the Shanti Path, following traditional protocol. This session marked significant steps towards strengthening the Madhya Pradesh chapter’s organizational structure and preparing for future events.
