The Karnataka State Chapter Committee of IYA met on December 1, 2022 and a consecutive meetings were held on December 20, 2022 and December 23, 2022. The meeting was attended by Shri Bhawarlal Arya, Shri Madhava Madanapalli, Shri Phaneendra Kumar, Shri Vivek Sharma, Dr Mitesh Thakkar, Ms. Sivasree Yadla, Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Shri Ravi Tumuluri, Prof Purushottam Bung, Smt Arti Padasalagi, Smt Malathi V, Shri Balachandar Sharma, Shri Rajesh Karva, Ms. Sindhoora, Smt Thrushal Sunman and Smt Bhavna Puri. The main purpose of the meeting was renominations. After a lot of discussion, names were finalised of the committee members.
On December 23, the members brainstormed about the activities of the chapter the new year. It was decided to build a module of Yoga practice (Asana, Pranayama, Meditation and chanting) for protection against COVID.
The Secretary suggested looking into the existing module that would be shared with Ms Sindhoora, Shri Phaneendra and Smt Malathi V. Activities to spread awareness about IYA activities and memberships, awareness about vaccination and alternative treatments etc., were discussed. Meeting ended with an closing prayer.
