Mokshayatan International Yogashram celebrates Vivekananda Jayanti

Mokshayatan International Yogashram celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12, 2022. In her address, Acharya Pratishtha said, “The confident and magical personality of Swami Vivekananda deeply touched the hearts of people around the world. Swami Vivekananda was the living example of a perfect coordination of philosophy and conduct.

Yoga practitioner Shri Arshad Malik said, “What we have learned with Swami Bharat Bhushan is priceless. “It is difficult to get to the essence of Yoga without getting to its core. Swami Vivekananda made the world crazy about Yoga and spirituality,” said Yogacharya Pradeep Kamboj.

Yoga practitioner Tabassum explained that people who considered Yoga as merely a physical form of exercise are those who are not aware of its entire essence. Talking in detail about Swami Vivekananda, Yogacharya Anita Sharma said that in his Chicago Dharma Conference Swamiji introduced the world to the universality of Hinduism and the world accepted the deep relationship of Yoga and Spirituality.

Yoga Sadhak Dr. Ashok Gupta expressed his happiness as everybody present in the program wore saffron turban. Shri Vishal Gulati could be seen sharing the same sentiments. “It is such a pleasant site watching the seekers of Mokshayatan International Yogashram wearing saffron turban with pride.”

On the occasion, Maa Ishta Sharma urged the seekers to think of the whole world as a family. Known as the modern day Vivekananda, Padmashree Swami Bharat Bhushan said, “Swami Vivekananda introduced Indian culture of unity in diversity in the world. Whoever came in contact with him was influenced with his thoughts. I was influenced with Swamiji’s personality to an extent that even my first international travel was to Chicago, which was a matter of pride for me.”

The yoga guru appreciated the efforts of the seekers for organizing a unique program on Vivekananda Jayanti.

SVYASA celebrates 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda

National Youth Day was celebrated at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (S-VYASA), Deemed to be University along with celebration of the 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12, 2022. Prof. M K Sridhar, Registrar welcomed all the dignitaries and explained about Swami Vivekananda’s everlasting messages which could inspire youths in particular and people in general.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. K Subrahmanyam, Adviser to Hon’ble Chancellor said that Swami Vivekananda was a prophet, messiah, patriot, militant monk and a true Yogi. Chief Guest, Prof. Ramdev Bharadwaj, Professor Emeritus, S-VYASA and Former Vice-Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Hindi University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, greeted all on the occasion of National Youth Day and said that Swami Vivekananda was a potent force in the country among youths who aspired for Sewa, and for societal welfare, personality development and which finally leads to Nation building.

Dr. H R Nagendra ji, Chancellor, S-VYASA in his presidential address explained the Guru Parampara of Ramakrishna order carried out by Ramakrishna Mission and Sharada Mission. He said that Vivekananda Kendra has attracted the spiritual seekers from all the corners. He said that Swami Vivekananda through his messages brought transformation among youth and society where he said that ‘each soul is potentially divine and the goal of life should be to manifest the divinity already present in man’ followed by the ‘real goal of education should be art of man making and nation building which is also the true essence of Yoga’.

The dignitaries released ‘Yoga-YugadharmaKarika’ a Sanskrit anthology of poems written by Prof. Ramachandra G Bhat, Director Veda Vijgyan Gurukulam and Former Vice Chancellor, S-VYASA. Prof. Ramachandra G Bhat ji recited a poem on Swami Vivekananda his virtues, thoughts on Vedanta, Yoga and yogaparampara.

Dr. Sony Kumari, Dean of Academics proposed a hearty Vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, teaching and non-teaching staff and students who had participated in the programme. The programme concluded with Shanti Mantra.

SVYASA: Dirghayuh Treatment Centre completes 20years
