Standing Committee for Publicity, Publication and PR (SCPPPR) met on May 12, 2020 at 11:00 am through video conferencing. It was attended by Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Director of SCPPPR, Smt Ekta Bouderlique, Working Director of SCPPPR, Shri Ravi Tumuluri ji, Joint Secretary, IYA and Smt Thrushal Sunman, Chief Office Admin, IYA.
The meeting commenced with discussions on creating a comprehensive video of IYA Gurus who are members of the Governing Council to be presented to all the major channels. The ongoing MoU between IYA and Chaukhamba was also taken up. Shri Ravi Tumuluri explained in detail about the joint publishing of IYA publications. A list of Yoga Text Books created by the IYA Member Institutes as part of the Committee on Yoga Education in Universities was as well shared.
Further, it was decided to hold a live program of all Yoga Gurus with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the office bears of UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (UPBTVP) on a channel. Meeting also discussed presenting of Yogasetu – A bridge of yoga videos on Youtube or on Facebook. Yogasetu would be continuing showcase of various yoga traditions and institutions.
SCPPPR meeting ended after an intense discussion of 1:30 hours.
