The Puducherry Chapter Committee of IYA organised a Meet & Greet Webinar over Zoom on June 1, 2020. As many as 15 people participated in the Webinar.
The UTCC members who marked their presence for the webinar were Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Vice Chairperson, Dr. Madan Mohan, Vice Chairperson, Dr Meena Ramanathan, Joint Secretary Academics & Accreditation, Dr R. Balaji, Joint Secretary, Mr Dayanidi G, Joint Secretary, Dr Sampadananda Mishra, Secretary, Dr. Selvanathan, Joint Secretary, Mr. Karthik, Ms Garima Setia, Member, Ms. Vibha Shah, Member, Chandrakant Prakash, Member, Mr Auro Ashish, Joint Secretary and other non-member guest participants. Shri Ravi Tumuluri ji, Joint Secretary, IYA and Ms. Nandini Sethi IYA Secretariat Office, New Delhi also marked their presence.
After a brief introduction, participants were requested to spread more awareness about the importance of the functioning of IYA and spreading the good word about Yoga.
Dr. Ananda made suggestions about 7 days of online events prior and post IYD, where each day can be dedicated for various yoga institutions, wherein resources from the respective
yoga organizations can showcase their specialities in the field of yoga.
Concluding the webinar, Shri Ravi Tumuluri ji suggested the Puducherry IYA Chapter to explore possibilities and organize a YOGA PARADE on the IYD. It could be a 7 to 10 minutes video presentation (preferable pre-recorded) highlighting various yoga organizations and activities.
