18 Mandals of UPSCC met to discuss the way forward
All the 18 Mandals of Uttar Pradesh State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association met on July 27, 2021 on Google Meet from 6-7pm to discuss and review the activities held in last few months, and an annual calendar was made for the forthcoming programs and events.
Chairing the meeting, Dr.Amarjeet Yadav, Chairperson, UPSCC stressed on creating Whatsapp Groups so that everyone is informed about the activities. Members were assigned roles as per their capabilities. A thought was also given to create a PR committee under Shri Amar Singh Bhaduria, Secretary, UPSCC to take care of the promotions on social media platforms.
Discussions were held about the forthcoming events and programs which may include international seminar and webinars, felicitation of people for their hard work, fellowships, conservation of environment, plantation drive and others.
In the review meeting, Dr. Jaideep Arya, Joint Secretary, IYA were present as the special guest. While addressing the meeting he said, “Yoga and Ayurveda are complementary to each other. Both help an individual to maintain equilibrium physically and mentally. They can’t be separated. IYA in form of small units like at state, district, block, tehsil, village level will not leave any stone unturned to promote and propagate Ayurveda and Yoga.” In his address, he also appreciated the work done by UPSCC.
Towards the end, everybody present shared their views. The people who marked their presence included Shri Amit Garg, Shri SK Rander, Dr. PN Awasthi, Shri Abodh Kumar Srivastava, Shri Bhagwan Singh, Shri Rohit Kaushik and others.
