Marma and Meditative YogaAsana for Advance Practitioners

Marma is an ancient Indian wisdom to heal the imbalances of energy. Hence points like dermatomes and myotomes of medical stream cannot be correlated quickly. The experts of family are spreading this knowledge to next generations. Having opportunity to spread this knowledge into yoga, here few basic postures are given to bring back the health of learners.

Note: Four Meditative asana beyond healing are for meditation and spiritual awakening or recognising Soul.
Description:
As the meditation setup the journey from physical towards recognising the soul, knowledge about energy activating points is crucial during asana practice. This is how the meditation state will be further towards Samadhi.
“Katik tarun” means pressure on buttocks with heels in Vajrasana or thunderbolt pose. This is how the meditation practitioners were healthy by adopting this pose. Hence the asana is “Marma Vajrasana”.
“Goolph” represents ankle area. Sit on right heel touching the perinium and left lateral (outer) malleoli on right ankle. Hence the asana is “Marma Siddhasana”.
“Krikatika” represents middle point on back of the skull. Having interlocked finger behind the head in Shavasana and thumbs pressing the bottom of the skull. Hence the asana is “Marma Suptasana”.
“Manibandha” Stapani represents wrists and fore-head area. Having weight of the head over the wrists activates balanced functioning of brain. Hence the asana is “Marma Makarasana”.

Usage of these few points in few minutes, the practitioner experienced the flexibility of body and mind. On daily basis such practice can help any beginner to reach the mastery on physical imbalances and Nadis (Energy channel).
