Yoga Vidya Niketan, Member Institute of IYA is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. To commemorate this yearlong celebration, an inaugural function was arranged at Yoga Bhavan, Vashi on 22 nd March 2023. Maa Dr. Hansaji Yogendra of Yoga Institute, Santacruz graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. Dignified personalities in the field of Yoga, like Padmashri H. R. Nagendra Guruji, Dr. Anand Balyogi Bhavanani, Shri Subodhji Tiwari of Kaivalyadhama, Dr. Shriram Agashe sent their best wishes in video clips during this function. Dr. Hansaji Yogendra addressed the audience in her usual cheerful and delightful manner.

As a part of the celebrations, Yoga Vidya Niketan recently has also started several Yoga promotion related activities. One of the activities is the Lecture Series by name – ‘Yoga Pushpanjali’ where eminent personalities in the field of Yoga are invited as speakers. It is a great opportunity for all Yoga enthusiasts to listen to the views of Yoga stalwarts. The lecture is scheduled on the first Sunday evening of every month and timing is from 1630 to 1800 hrs (IST). These lectures are online on Zoom platform and are also relayed ‘live’ on YouTube. They are available for public view on YVN’s YouTube channel. It started from the month of April 2023 and will continue till March 2024.
