IYA holds 28th Executive Council Meeting 

The Twenty Eighth Meeting of the Executive Council of Indian Yoga Association was held online on July 30, 2022, between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm online

Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra, President, Swami Atmapriyananda, Senior Vice President, Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General, Brahmacharini Shobha, Joint Secretary, Shri PC Kapoor, Director, Standing Finance Committee, Dr Ganesh Rao, Director, Standing Academics and Accreditation Committee, Dr S P Mishra, CEO, PrCB, Smt. Kamlesh Barwal, Director, Standing Publications,

Publicity and PR Committee attended the meeting. Other Members present were Ms Padmini Rathore, OSD to the President and Ms Nancy Tripathi, Special Invitee. Those members who were absent were granted a leave of absence.

The meeting was opened by the Secretary General, Sri Subodh Tiwari on behalf of the President, who then invited the Chairperson of the meeting, Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra, President, IYA, to make the opening remarks.

The President noted EC Members present and those who were grated the leave of absence. She said that those members who were not present should make extra efforts to attend the EC Meetings. The President made a special note for the upcoming 76th Independence Day on the 15th August, 2022 that we as Indian Yoga Association should hoist the National Flag wherever they were, that we are together to celebrate this Independence Day Mahotsav.

The 28th EC saw the nomination of Members in all the Standing Committees.

Ms Padmini Rathore will be a Working Director of SPPRC. The State Chapters would call for renominations systematically usher change. For the from NISD, MSJE it was agreed to continue same under the SAAC this year too. The MOU between HSSC would be signed by the SG. IYA PrCB will ISO: 17024 quality certification. The EC accorded its approval to sign MOUs with IGNOU and NIOS. The EC also accorded an in-principle approval to partner with AYURYOG
