Celebrating 8th International Day of Yoga on 21st June, 2022

Project ‘Life’ (www.999life.org), is a charity serving for the humanitarian values has completed 43 years of serving the community, touching every aspect of human life through working in the areas of Health & Wellness, Education, Environment and Women Empowerment since 1978. We have been working in the field of Yoga since 2003 at various levels of the society. In this reference, we have collaborated with Kaivalyadhama – Lonavla, Jain Vishwa Bharati – Ladnun and Indian Yoga Association. Over the last 20 years, Life Health & Wellness Centre has achieved major milestones sharing Yoga education to more than 9 lac people in improving their health & wellness.

When it was announced in 2014 by UNO to celebrate International Day of Yoga worldwide, Life Health & Wellness Centre, Project ‘Life’ organized many programs & events for sharing of Yoga knowledge among the people every year since its inception in 2015.

This year, in context of 8th International Day of Yoga and 75th Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, Life Health & Wellness Centre, Project ‘Life’, Rajkot has organized several Yoga programs including Lectures, Yoga Shibir & Yoga Sessions at various places at different locations from 21st May, 2022 to 21st June, 2022. In this reference, approximately 2500 persons attended various Yoga programs, organized by Project ‘Life’ during the 1 month duration, out of them more than 1000 persons attended celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga on 21st June, 2022 and practiced Common Yoga Protocol.

People from Saurashtra Gramin Bank started to come from 5.45 AM and support staff arranged them to the particular sitting arrangements at Hall-A, Level-5, Project ‘Life’. At sharp 6.00 AM, Yoga Sessions started as per International Yoga Protocol which was conducted by Mr. Jasmin Panchasara and Ms. Sakina Bharmal has demonstrated. The session was ended at 7.00 AM timely and attended by 28 male and 20 female participants.

Further, Mr. Jasmin Panchasara has conducted Yoga session for Employees of Provident Fund Organization, Rajkot at Hall-B, level-5, Project ‘Life’ from 7.00 to 8.00 AM where Ms. Upasana demonstrated Yogic practices. Total attendees were 51 in which 48 male and 3 female participants.

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mishra & Ms. Sakina Bharmal have conducted Yoga Session at G.S.T. Bhavan, Rajkot for GST employees from 7.00 to 8.00 AM which was attended by 38 male and 2 female practitioners.

A Yoga session was organized for employees of Bank of Baroda from 7.00 to 8.30 AM at ‘Life’ Auditorium, Level-6, Project ‘Life’. The session was conducted by Mr. Abhishek Dwivedi and Mr. Maulik Vipani & Ms. Sarita Avadhwasi have demonstrated. The session was attended by 130 male and 20 female participants.

At the same time, at Terrace, Level-7, Project ‘Life’, Yoga session was arranged for members of Life Health & Wellness Centre, members of Gynaec Association, Rajkot & members of Menopause Society from 7.00 to 8.00 AM which was conducted by Ms. Sejal Darji and demonstrated by Ms. Riya, Mr. Jeel & Mr. Jenil. The session was attended by 48 male and 56 female participants.

Another Yoga session was organized at ‘Life’ Auditorium, Level-6, Project ‘Life’ for employees of Income Tax Department, Rajkot from 9.00 to 10.00 AM which was conducted by Mr. Jasmin Panchasara and demonstrated by Ms. Sejal Sanghani & Ms. Sejal Darji and attended by 75 male and 15 female persons.

Ms. Shaili and Ms. Dimple have conducted Yoga Session at M.V. M College of Commerce, Management & I.T., Rajkot for the 100 girl students from 7.45 to 8.15 AM.

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mishra & Ms. Sakina Bharmal have conducted Yoga Session at Rehvar School, Rajkot for their students from 9.00 to 10.00 AM which was attended by 150 boys and 50 girls.

Doordarshan, Rajkot has organized a Yoga session at their premise for their employees & staff members from 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM which was conducted by Mr. Jasmin Panchasara. The session was attended by 25 male and 3 female staff members.

District Institute for Education & Training (D.I.E.T.), Rajkot has organized a Yoga session at their premise for students & staff members from 12.00 PM to 1.00 PM which was conducted by Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mishra & Ms. Sakina Bharmal. The session was attended by 50 female participants.

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Mishra & Mr. Jasmin Panchasara have conducted Yoga Session at T. N. Rao College, Rajkot for their students from 4.00 to 5.00 PM which was attended by 80 boys and 140 girls.

Finally, the program was successful to achieve its objective in spreading real essence of Yoga for humanity among the people including sharing of wellness, peace & harmony. In all above Yoga programs, there were 622 male and 409 female participants, thus total 1031 persons got benefited on 21st June, 2022.
