Vyasa Yoga Singapore, Associate Centre of Indian Yoga Association, celebrated its 25th year of establishment along with the 7th International Yoga Conference on October 19th and 20th, 2024, at the Galaxy Ballroom, CSC Tessensohn, in Singapore supported by High Commission of India in Singapore, Singapore…
It was a Kumbh, a confluence of various yoga paramparas at Isha Foundation, Coimbatore at the foothills of the Velliangiri range of Mountains, where legend has it many siddhars similarly treaded in earlier ages. The occasion was different this time though as the yogrishis and yogis came together in a common cause under the aegis of the Indian Yoga Association. It was for the Second Meeting of the Governing Council of Indian Yoga Association on February 10, 2020 that this land witnessed a flow of yogic wisdom from the great Masters! Also seen in the picture are many members of the IYA
On the eve of the Governing Council Meeting, all the yogis watched in awe the Adiyogi, 34-metre-tall (112 ft), 45-metre-long (147 ft) and 7.62-metre-wide (24.99 ft), formed seemingly miraculously as if by Earth’s tectonic plates smashing together like another mountain in the Velliangiri range and sometimes seemingly presenting himself downwards as if from the upper worlds. The powerful and relaxing laser show surely served as an apt ground for preparation for the Second Governing Council Meeting of IYA, scheduled for the next day!
