NMB Review and Refresher Meet 2020 

To analyse the progress of Niyanthrita Madhumeha Bharata Abhiyaan (NMB)- A Yoga and Diabetes (Multi Centric Research Study), a review and refresher program was organized by Indian Yoga Association and S-VYASA. The program was held from January 1-6, 2020 at Prashanti Kutiram, SVYASA, Bengaluru. Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble MoS for AYUSH & Defence, Govt. of India also marked his presence to motivate NMB members.

The program brought together members of National Committee of NMB to review the progress, State Chapter Committees of Indian Yoga Association from various traditions of yoga to understand how to take NMB forward while volunteers and yoga resource person joined in for the training of yoga instructors. Data was collected, review was received from all the members, ground-level problems were discussed. As many as 256 members participated in the review and refresher program which included 14 SRFs, 125 YVDMs, 4 from IYA PrCB, Executive Council Members, IYA Secretariat Members, State Chapter Committee Members from Karnataka State Chapter, Tamil Nadu State Chapter, Chandigarh State Chapter, West Bengal State Chapter, Odisha State Chapter, Kerala State Chapter, Assam State Chapter, Haryana State Chapter, Pondicherry State Chapter and others.
