UP SCC conducts State Conclave on Yogic Practice and Diet 

The Uttar Pradesh State Chapter Committee (UP SCC) of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA) successfully organized the State Conclave on Yogic Practice and Diet on February 15, 2025, at Udyan Bhavan, Sapru Marg, Lucknow. The event, held under the leadership of the newly appointed Chairperson, Shri Piyush Kant Mishra, was conducted by Secretary Shri Amit Garg, Senior Vice Chairperson Shri Navneesh Kant Sharma, and former Treasurer Shri Akhilesh Pandey.

The conclave was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Vivek Tangdi, Chief Sevadas of the ancient Shri Lete Hue Hanuman Ji Temple, Lucknow. Joining him as Guest of Honor was Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh Bhadauria, State President of the Bharatiya Kshatriya Samaj, Uttar Pradesh, alongside Special Guest, Shri Sameer Sanjay Mishra, a state-level athlete. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and prayers to Goddess Saraswati.
A special highlight of the event was the recorded message from Yoga Guru Padma Shri Swami Bharat Bhushan Ji, who extended his blessings and best wishes to the newly elected Uttar Pradesh Chapter Committee. Several esteemed speakers, including Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Pandey, Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Dr. Naveen Singh, Dr. Pratibha Singh, Shri Ashish Tandon, and Navneesh Kant Sharma, shared their insights on yogic diet, lifestyle, and holistic well-being.

The conclave saw an enthusiastic gathering of 115 participants from 23 districts, who actively engaged with the newly formed 14-member executive committee. The Executive Committee for 2025 is as follows:

Among the notable attendees were Manish Kumar, Abodh Srivastava, Dr. Kiran Singh, Tulsi Ram, Dr. P.N. Awasthi, Shri Shri Bhagwan Singh, Sajal Kumar Render, Subodh Yadav, Himanshu Mishra, and Miss Emma from Italy, whose presence underscored the international appeal of yoga and its growing influence.

In recognition of their participation, attendees were honored with a laptop bag, memento, idols of Hanuman Ji, Kedarnath, and Adiyogi Shiva, a notebook, pen, ID card, writing pad, shawl, and other gifts as tokens of appreciation.
The event concluded on a heartfelt note with a vote of thanks delivered by former Secretary Shri Amar Singh Bhadauria Ji, marking the successful culmination of a conclave dedicated to yoga, health, and holistic wellness.
