Indian Yoga Association’s 10-Day Camp at Maha Kumbh 2025: A Spiritual Odyssey

As the echoes of chants, meditative silence, and joyous gatherings linger in the hearts of those who attended Camp by Indian Yoga Association at Mahakumbh 2025, it will be remembered as a beacon of spiritual unity, self-discovery, and yogic enlightenment.

The Indian Yoga Association’s (IYA) 10-day immersive yoga camp at Mahakumbh 2025, held from February 7–16 in Prayagraj, was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on all who participated. As the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers bore witness to this transformative event, the IYA’s initiative served as a beacon of spiritual unity, self-discovery, and yogic enlightenment.

A Sacred Gathering of Yoga and Spirituality

Mahakumbh, held once every 144 years, is the rarest and most auspicious of all Kumbh gatherings, where millions seek divine blessings and spiritual purification. The IYA, under the visionary leadership of Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General, meticulously planned this camp to integrate the wisdom of yoga with the sanctity of Mahakumbh, offering participants a holistic experience of tradition and wellness.
We express our deepest gratitude to Dr. S.P. Mishra, CEO, PrCB, IYA, Shri P.C. Kapoor, Director, Finance Committee, IYA, Shri KC Jain, Treasurer, IYA and Pundit Radheshyam Mishra, Founder, YogaLife Global (Member Institute, IYA) for their invaluable guidance and support, which ensured the seamless execution of this grand initiative.

The camp featured engaging spiritual discourses by saints and scholars, covering topics like yoga and self-realization, Kumbh’s significance in yogic philosophy, and the pursuit of Dharma, Karma, and Moksha. Evening bhajans, kirtans, and Om chanting sessions uplifted spirits, fostering deep devotion.

Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites & Maha Snan
Participants embarked on guided visits to sacred sites, including Triveni Sangam, Akhara camps, and ancient temples. The Maha Snan (holy bath) on auspicious days was a deeply spiritual experience, believed to cleanse the soul and elevate consciousness.

Yoga for Global Peace and Well-being
With a focus on yoga as a tool for universal harmony, the camp emphasized its role in uniting cultures and promoting peace. Special sessions such as Krida Yoga, pranayama workshops, and interactive discussions on spirituality and science enriched the participants’ understanding.

A Journey of Transformation

This 10-day camp was not just an event—it was a transformative experience that brought together seekers, practitioners, and spiritual aspirants from diverse backgrounds. As we bid farewell to Mahakumbh 2025, we carry forward the wisdom, devotion, and unity fostered during these sacred days.

We look forward to continuing this journey, spreading the ancient wisdom of yoga, and creating avenues for spiritual growth and well-being!!
