Kerala State Chapter Committee convened a meeting on Zoom video conferencing on December 27, 2023 at 3pm.
The meeting was attended by Shri Kaithapram Vasudevan Namboothiri, Senior Vice Chairman, Shri Nataraj ji, Vice Chairman, Shri. Thippeswamy ji, Vice Chairman, Shri. Rajgopal Krishnan ji, General Secretary, Shri Sudhakar ji, Treasurer, Shri Harilal ji, Joint Secretary, Shri Shyju Krishnan B P ji, Joint Secretary and members of Delhi Secretariat.
The meeting started with introduction of Shri Atul Bhandari as the newest member of the secretariat. The members present were explained about various course programs formulated by IYA and the need to publicize it among the Associate centers in Kerala.
Shri Rajgopalji described the State chapter activities since formation. He talked of getting more memberships and Associate centers. He also elaborated the methods of conducting YCB exams with IYA PrCB. He requested the secretariat to make a presentation on various courses and details of conducting exams through PrCB, so that it could be presented in a meeting of IYA members. Nataraj ji told the necessity of meeting regularly every month. All members agreed and it was decided to meet every Second Saturday at 8.30 pm.
Sudhakar ji put forward the idea of conducting webinars and talk series on various topics by senior yoga masters. Also, the institutions associated and IYA members could conduct several activities which will keep them more enthusiastic on the path. This will generate more activities for the State chapter. Shri Vasu mash, Shri Thippeswami ji and Shri Harilal ji also shared their views on the future.
