Youthnews.online partners with IYA for International Yoga E-Conclave 

A 3-day International Yoga E-Con­clave organized was jointly organ­ised by Youthnews.online, Indian Yoga Association, Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh and National Youth Foun­dation from May 28-30, 2021. It was attended by scores of Yoga masters and Yoga institu­tions from across the globe. The event organized at Zoom Platform and was also live on Facebook and YouTube.

The Conclave was inaugurated by Shri Shri 1008 Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri ji, of Shri Panchayati Niranjani Akhada and Swami Govind Dev Giri was present as the Special Guest in the inaugural session.

Speaking on the occasion about the importance of yoga Swami Chidanand Saraswati, the founder of Parmarth Niketan and Member, Governing Council, IYA said that yoga is the basic foundation of In­dian way of life. “People from about 150 countries around the world are coming to Rishikesh every year to learn yoga and meditation. Yoga has been accepted as an ideal method for healthy body, mind and life,” he added.

On the second day, Guruji Dr HR Nagendra, President, IYA in his ad­dress stressed upon the inculcating yoga into our lives. He added, “Yoga is not only posters and asanas, but a complete system of healthy and happy life. People in most of the countries today are practicing it for perfect health and happiness. Even 40 Muslim countries have adopted yoga as a method of perfection.

“AYUSH Ministry is designing new yoga protocol to be practiced by everyone to strengthen the immunity and defence system to be saved from bodies from all the virus and its infection including COVID-19. Yoga is capable of protecting mankind from the diseases and we are trying to give scientific evidence for this”.

Dr Anand Balayogi Bhavanani, Director, Standing Publicity, Publication & P.R. Committee, IYA spoke about Nada yoga and explained it can help us elevate ourselves spiritually. Shri Subodh Tiwari, Vice Presi­dent, IYA talked about Yoga as a method of making us perfect human beings. Dr Ishwar Basavaraddi, Member, Governing Council, IYA shared his view and said that yoga is a journey from finite to infinite, individual to universal, and external to internal. It is a method of experiencing one’s inner self.

Doctor BK Binni Rajyogini of Brahmakumari taught the participants about yoga and meditation while explaining its effects on human life. Yogini Ganga Nandini, Parmarth Niketan elaborated on Yoga and said, “Yoga not only contain knowledge of its phi­losophy, but also a large part of it is related to the practice and experience. Yoga not only improves us physically but also influences our mind and thoughts towards becoming a perfect human being.
The three days International yoga conclave con­cluded in the presence of a number of international yoga experts and Masters explaining and interpret­ing the various aspects of yoga practice.

Most of the speakers emphasized that yoga is needed in Modern Times for perfect health and hap­piness of mankind. They said that prevention is al­ways better than cure. Our governments are spend­ing so much on the treatment of disease, whereas they should be focusing upon the prevention from diseases. All the governments must spend budget on the Preventive Health Care. Instead of opening hospitals and medical centres we should be opening Yoga Centers and Naturopathy Resorts.

Dr. Swami Satya Prakash from VYASA and Vishva Canada was the chief guest on the concluding day. The great masters of Yoga who marked their pres­ence in the three day conclave included Acharya Vasudevananda, Taune Valle, Mahatma Krish­nananda, Dr Aditi Govitrikar, Carolina Requelme, Debora Villanueva, Amadio Biancha, Eric Manquej, Acharya Vipin Joshi Maharaj, Shishir Srivastava, Dr Priti, Dr Sunanda S Rathi, Dr. Nutan, Andrea Castaneira, Dr. A K Jain, Yogacharya Dhakaram, Dr Madan Manav, Mr. Anant Biradar and Swami Param Tej.

Others who spoke on the occasion included Swamini Durga from Argentina, Peter Rozina from Peace Lights USA, Aparinay Shyamdas and Dr. Saty­endra Mishra of Lucknow University, Others who spoke on the day were Smt.Bhanumathi Narasimman, Art of Living. Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the founder of City Montessori schools in Lucknow, Dr Sarita Naik, Dr Vishwas Mandlik, Dr Chintamani Yogi from Nepal and Aacharya Vasudevananda of the Yoga Alliance International. Other speakers and dignitaries who spoke on the occasion included Mr. Edvin Stern, Carlos G. Chiarotto, Swami Vidyanand ji, Dr. Antonietta Rozzie, Valentina Cortini, Gaurav Prakash, Dr. Shakti Kumar Pandey.

The program was conducted by Shri Tanuj Narayan, Smt Neetu Somani, Shri Raj Smriti. Well-known sing­ers Smt Shuchita Pandey, Smt Sneha Arora and Shri Ravi Kant Tripathi offered spiritual prayer and bhajan in their soulful voice.
