Yogavani is 5 years old!v

Yogacharya Dr Ananda
Balayogi Bhavanani, Editor

Director ISCM and Professor Yoga Therapy, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry, India.

Yogavani, the official monthly publication of the Indian Yoga Association, proudly celebrates its fifth year of online presence. It has been an immense joy for me as the Editor to connect with you, our cherished readers, each month, as I feel we serve as a vibrant bridge between the IYA and its global community of members.

The fundamental goal of Yoga is an attainment of the highest manifestation of our inherent divinity and it is truly the greatest fortune to be born human, and do our best to “Live Yoga.” I feel that Yogavani, through its pages enables all of us, the Worldwide Yoga Family to unite in that shared experience every month.

The blessings of our esteemed Gurus, who consistently guide us in the Governing and Executive Councils, hold profound significance for us. They illuminate our path with their wisdom and grace.

The benevolence of Gurudev Sri Sri
Ravishankarji,
our revered Chairperson, along with the loving presence of Maa Hansaji J Yogendra, infuses each issue with a spirit of inspiration and depth.
I would like to give special recognition to our dynamic and visionary Secretary General, Shri Subodhji, whose motivation inspires us to share the highest teachings of traditional Yoga while keeping our content fresh and innovative.

I also want to honour the remarkable Smt Kamleshji, our former Secretary General, under whose guidance Yogavani was birthed. She exemplifies the very essence of Yogashakti and continues to champion a holistic vision through her role as Editor-in-Chief.

I extend heartfelt gratitude to all our contributors who tirelessly provide us with captivating news reports, insightful articles, and stunning photographs showcasing the dynamic events organized by our State Chapters, Member Institutions, and Associate Centres. Many of you have also generously supported us through advertising; without your unwavering commitment, the regular publication of Yogavani would not be possible.

Lastly, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations to Smt Shruti Prabhakar and Shri Deepak Rawat for their extraordinary efforts over the past five years, ensuring that every issue radiates both rich content and elegance. You are the backbone of Yogavani, and your dedication to Yoga Seva is truly commendable.

Thank you for being an integral part of this journey!
