Arsha Yoga Gurukulam, Associate Centre of Indian Yoga Association, in association with the Kerala State Chapter of IYA, organized the Faculty Development Program for Yoga Trainers (FDPYT). Held for the first time in Kerala, this program aimed at providing advanced training to yoga teachers, enhancing their skills and knowledge beyond the traditional Teacher Training Course (TTC).
The program comprised 18 sessions across 9 key topics such as Yoga Sutras, Yoga Therapy, Yoga & Ayurveda, Yogic Wellness, and Pranayama, among others. Conducted three days a week, the sessions were held in the evening from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM to allow yoga professionals to conveniently participate.
This development program was designed to integrate both traditional wisdom and modern insights in the field of yoga, offering a holistic approach to teaching. Participants who completed the course received certificates jointly issued by Arsha Yoga Gurukulam and the Indian Yoga Association, further boosting their professional credentials.
