The 41th meeting of the Executive Council of the India Yoga Association was convened online on May 23, 2024. The meeting was attended by key members including Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra, President, Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General, Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Joint Secretary, Dr S P Mishra, CEO, PrCB, Dr Ganesh Rao, Director SAAC, Shri P C Kapoor, Director Finance Committee, Shri Desraj Gupta, Member and Professor Elangovan, Member.
The meeting began with a prayer and an opening address from the Secretary General, followed by remarks from the President emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and collective effort, particularly in preparation for the upcoming International Day of Yoga.
The agenda of the meeting included confirmation of previous minutes, action reports on previous decisions, progress updates on various committees and initiatives such as the IYA App Committee, considerations for new member institutions, and discussions on collaborations with international organizations like the European Yoga Council.
Additionally, plans for Manthan- 3rd National State Chapter Conclave and other administrative matters were addressed. The meeting concluded with a closing prayer, marking a productive session aimed at advancing the objectives of the Indian Yoga Association.
