The thirty eighth meeting of the Executive Council of Indian Yoga Association was held online on January 11, 2024, between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
The meeting saw the presence of Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra, President, Shri S Sridharan, Vice President, Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General, Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Joint Secretary, Brahmacharini Shobha, Joint Secretary, Shri KC Jain, Treasurer, Smt Padmini Rathore, Working Director, Standing Publications, Publicity and PR Committee, Dr S P Mishra, CEO, PrCB, Shri PC Kapoor, Director, Standing Finance Committee, and Ms Ganga Nandini as Special Invitees.
The meeting commenced with Shri Subodh Tiwari welcoming all. Thereafter, Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra requested the members present to finalise the schedule of the International Yoga Summit 2023 to be held from November 17-19, 2023 at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
The agenda was tabled by Shri Subodh Tiwari after the minutes were approved for the 38th Executive Council Meeting held online on September 21, 2023. Discussions were held on enhancing the presence of Indian Yoga Association globally and 8th General Body Meeting that was conducted successfully at International Yoga Summit held in Haridwar at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya in November 2023. Maa presided over the meeting at Haridwar and it was a great occasion when everyone got together.
All the esteemed members were informed that the first batch of Grand Parenting Program For Yoga Therapy was finished successfully. Planning for the Yoga Chiktsa Sahayak course were also discussed in 6th Yoga Therapy meeting.
The members planned for the forthcoming National Conclave at the Art of Living International Center, Bengaluru from February 24-26, 2024. The President in her closing note thanked and greeted all the members present. The meeting ended with the Shanti mantra.
