Chandigarh SCC of Indian Yoga Association along with ASHI, Haryana organised Knock-Knock 2023 to mark the forthcoming International Day of Yoga 2023 on April 3, 2023 at Ashiana Children, Panchkula, Haryana. Shri Arun Aggarwal, Vice President, ASHI, Haryana graced the event. The event also saw the presence of Ms. Kiran Gandhi, General Secretary, ASHI Haryana and Yoga Acharya Shri Sandeep Sharma. From Chandigarh SCC, Ms Krishna Goyal, Treasurer, Ms Indra Gupta, Dr Pardeep Agnihotri, Joint Secretary were present.
The workshop was attended by 42 children who were taught asanas and pranayama under the guidance of Shri Sandeep Sharma. The program started with chanting and gayatri mantra. Thereafter participants were made to practice yogasanas, pranayama, sectional breathing, nadi shodan with kumbhaka, udhyan bandha, bhramari pranayama, om chanting, mahamrityunjaya Mantra, shanti path and others. Participation certificates were also distributed for attending the workshop. Dr Pardeep Agnihotri thanked ASHI- Haryana Management and emphasized the need to do Yoga daily to live a healthy, disease/medicine life in his closing remarks.
