JS visits RKMVERI, Gangadharpur Shikshan Mandir, Bharat Sevashram Sangh 

Shri Ravi Tumuluri, Joint Secretary, IYA visited Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Kolka­ta a Founding Member Institute of Indian Yoga Association on March 21, 2021. Here, he sought blessings from Swami Atmapriyananda ji, Director, Standing Academics and Accreditation Committee and Chairman, West Bengal State Chapter Committee.

Swami ji Maharaj gave inputs on how to take the message of IYA to the four Amnayana Peethams and to Kanchi Matham. He deputed Swami Kirtipradananda, Registrar, RKMVERI, to record a video on Bhagavad Gita for the upcoming Foundation Course in Yoga being executed through BBAU Central University, Lucknow.

Gangadharpur Shik­shan Mandir

From RKMVERI, Shri Ravi Tumuluri visited Gangadharpur to pay a visit to Shri Santosh Kumar Das, Founder Secretary, Gangadharpur Shikshan Mandir, an organisation dedicated to children of rural West Bengal. He was accom­panied by Shri Vidyut, a yoga teacher from West Bengal. Along with Shri Santosh, Cap­tain Amlan was there in the meeting as well. Various issues regarding advances in yog field and possible academic and vocation activi­ties in yoga for the institution were discussed. Gangadhrapur Shikshan Mandir will soon ap­ply Associate Center affiliation of the Associa­tion

Bharat Sevashram Sangh

From Gangadharpur, the IYA team visited Bharat Sevashram Sangh, a spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers, devoted to the service of hu­manity, established in Kolkata in 1917 by Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj. While Dilip Maharaj, the head of the

organisation, we could give information about IYA to the office bearers present. They agreed

that unity is required amongst various traditions and agreed to convey the discussions to Dilip ji upon re­turn. Bharat Sevashram Sangh would consider being an Annexure 3 Member Institution
