Makhana has inflammatory properties. It is good for our spleen health and also maintains blood pressure. It is beneficial for arthritis patients. Makhana is beneficial in weight loss, diabetes, for athletes, children, adolescents, in pregnancy, for bone and muscle health.
Ingredients
Makhana (Foxnuts) 3 cups
Turmeric Powder ¼ tsp
Rock Salt ½ tsp
Oil or ghee 1 tsp
Method
Heat oil in a pan or kadhai.
Add the makhana and roast for a good 5 minutes on a low flame till they become crispy and crunchy.
Keep on stirring in between.
Add turmeric powder and salt.
Toss the whole mixture well.
