The School of Yoga Therapy (SYT), Institute of Salutogenesis & Complementary Medicine (ISCM) of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth (SBV), Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association, conducted a vibrant and impactful awareness program at the Rural Healthcare Training Center (RHTC) of SBV in the Aranganur.
This initiative aimed at spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga and promoting holistic health practices among the rural population, with a special focus on school children. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 40 children, and around 15 of the RHTC staff and faculty members actively participated in the structured yoga protocol practice. Their energy, curiosity, and eagerness to learn brought a dynamic and joyful atmosphere to the entire session, creating a sense of community and shared learning.
The collective participation fostered an inclusive environment where both young minds and adults could connect through the discipline of yoga. It was not merely a session of physical postures and breathing techniques, but a true celebration of wellness, education, and togetherness. Feedback from the attendees highlighted how beneficial and enjoyable the experience was, and many expressed a keen interest in continuing such practices in the future.
Overall, the program was a resounding success, serving as a testament to the power of yoga in bringing people together and enhancing health awareness at the grassroots level.
