The meeting of the Indian Yoga Association’s Rajasthan State Executive Committee was successfully held at Yogapeace Sansthan, the state office in Jaipur, under the chief patronage of Dr Ishwar Basavaraddi, Governing Council Member and former Director of Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. The session was presided over by Shri Mahesh Sharma, State Chairperson of IYA Rajasthan.

Among the key attendees were Yogacharya Dhakaram, Senior Vice President; Shri Megh Singh Chauhan, Vice President; Dr Deependra Singh Chauhan, Secretary; Shri Himanshu Paliwal, Joint Secretary; Ms Deeksha Jamwal, Treasurer; Dr Purnendu, Research Coordinator; Dr Hemraj Choudhary, Legal Coordinator; Ms Shivani Sharma, Event Coordinator; Yogi Manish, Publicity Coordinator; and Dr Alok Dixit, Social Media Coordinator. Also present were invited yoga experts including Yogacharya Hemlata Sharma and Shri Satpal.

The meeting commenced with Joint Secretary Shri Himanshu Paliwal presenting the minutes of the previous session, which were unanimously approved by the committee. Chairman Mahesh Sharma and Senior Vice President Dhakaram highlighted the various activities and initiatives carried out throughout the year.
Vice President Megh Singh Chauhan presented a comprehensive plan to expand the organization’s reach at the district level, detailing the roadmap for grassroots engagement.
The meeting concluded with in-depth discussions on preparations for a grand celebration of International Day of Yoga 2025, along with other key organizational matters.
