A large-scale mass yoga session was organized to commemorate 52 days remaining for the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025. The event was aimed at promoting the message that yoga is not just a way of life but a powerful tool for physical and mental well-being. Dr Raghuraman Bhatt, President of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (NCISM), highlighted the transformative impact yoga has had over the past decade in fostering a healthier nation.
The event also featured the plantation of medicinal plant saplings as part of the Harit Yoga initiative, reinforcing the link between yoga and environmental consciousness. The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from dignitaries, local authorities, and the general public. Notable attendees included Olympian and All India President of Kreeda Bharati, Shri Gopal Saini; RSS Regional Pracharak Shri Pramukh Shrivardhan Ji; Shri Anurag Saxena, Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra; Shri Himanshu Paliwal, Joint Secretary of IYA Rajasthan and Event Coordinator; Dr. Deependra Singh, Secretary; and the Deputy Director of the Ayurveda Department, Udaipur.
The program was jointly organized by Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), Sanskriti Vikas Sansthan, and the Indian Yoga Association – Rajasthan Chapter.
