As part of the 100 Days Countdown Yogotsav to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 and in celebration of Earth Day, Jharkhand State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association, students and teachers of Prabhapunj Public School, Rajeev Nagar, Chanho Block, Ranchi, Jharkhand, carried out a sapling plantation drive aimed at promoting rainwater harvesting through trees.
The event was held under the guidance of Shri K.D. Tiwary, Kulsachiv of Gramin Upkar Sansthan, Jharkhand. On this occasion, School Director Shri Shalik Ram Pandey and Principal Shri Subhanshu Kumar motivated the students to plant more trees and emphasized the importance of protecting the Earth and the environment. They also pledged, along with the entire school community, to plant hundreds of trees every year.
The program saw active participation from all students, teachers, and notable attendees including Shri Ghanshyam Bhagat, Shri Kumar Arya, Shri Vijay Yadav, and Shri Shubham Pandey.
