Swasti Yoga Center, an Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association and AYUSH-recognized institute from Pune, India, successfully organized the Yoga for LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) Conference on April 6, 2025 at the Biltmore Hotel, Tbilisi. The event marked a significant step in Indo-Georgian collaboration for health, culture, and sustainability.

The conference was graced by dignitaries including Mr. Giorgi Tsiklauri, Mayor of Tetritskaro Municipality, and Dr. Levan Cholokashvili, a leading oncologist. Key highlights included the Yoga Startup Challenge, a panel on Green Yoga & Responsible Tourism, and the launch of important publications like The Green Yoga Instructor Program and a Georgian edition of the Yoga Sutras.

Cultural performances and a felicitation ceremony celebrated the spirit of collaboration. The event aligned with India’s LiFE Mission, emphasizing eco-conscious living through yoga. Swasti Yoga’s founder, Dr. Vikas Chothe, emphasized yoga’s role in promoting climate-responsible lifestyles. The conference was supported by Indian Embassy officials, including H S Dutt, Sushil Malik, and Arun Khatri, showcasing yoga’s potential in global environmental advocacy.
