The Maharashtra State Chapter Committee of the Indian Yoga Association hosted its second pre-convention meeting on December 21, 2024, at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. The event featured a powerful Omkar session conducted by Shri Deepak Bagadia, which was well-received by attendees. Shri Sabir Shaikh delivered an engaging introduction to the Indian Yoga Association, inspiring participants with the association’s vision and activities. Despite a smaller turnout, the energy and enthusiasm of the attendees were commendable, reflecting the deep interest in yoga and its practices.
A previous pre-convention meeting held on December 8, 2024, saw about 50-60 attendees and followed a similar structure. Shri Sabir Shaikh and Shri Deepak Bagadia led the technical sessions on Omkar and IYA’s activities, providing valuable insights to the audience. Both meetings served as a platform to strengthen the community’s engagement with yoga and to prepare for the upcoming conventions, fostering a deeper understanding of yoga’s role in holistic well-being.
