IYA plays key role in Women Empowerment seminar at SD College of Commerce

The Indian Yoga Association (IYA), Uttar Pradesh Chapter, played a significant role in the Women Empowerment Seminar organized by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) at SD College of Commerce. The event was a resounding success, bringing together experts and dignitaries to discuss critical issues surrounding women’s empowerment. It was an honor for our association to be a part of this transformative dialogue, reinforcing IYA’s commitment to fostering holistic well-being and personal growth through yoga.

The seminar, thoughtfully coordinated by Shri Rajeev, Vice Chairperson, IIC, and supported by the leadership of SD College of Commerce, was a platform for meaningful discussions on empowerment, safety, and well-being. Mr. Haridutt Mishra, Vice Chairperson of IYA Uttar Pradesh Chapter, was a distinguished guest at the event, representing our collective vision for integrating yoga and mindfulness into everyday life. The gracious welcome extended by Rajeev Ji and the collaborative spirit of the organizers made this seminar a true confluence of ideas and initiatives.

As a representative of IYA, I had the privilege of sharing insights on online safety and security, as well as the importance of maintaining mental balance in challenging situations. Drawing from my experiences as Vice Chairperson of the IYA Uttar Pradesh Chapter, I emphasized how cultivating inner resilience through yoga is essential—not just for personal well-being but for empowering women to thrive across all spheres, including education, health, and career advancement. A secure digital space and a centered mind create an environment where equal opportunity and holistic growth can flourish.
IYA extends its heartfelt gratitude to the eminent dignitaries who contributed their expertise to the seminar, including:

  • The Honorable Additional District Judge, Mr. Ritish Sachdeva
  • Ms. Sumanlata Kaur, Women Support Cell
  • Dr. Sachin Goyal, Dr. Rajeev Kumar, and Dr. Navneet Verma
