Rajasthan SCC Organises an Event on ‘Savitri-Divyasarathi’ 

An online program was organized under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Chapter of Indian Yoga Association and Sri Aurobindo Society, Rajasthan on ‘Savitri-Divyasarathi- (A Brief Introduction)’ on August 29, 2021. Shri Surya Pratap Singh, Secretary, Sri Aurobindo Society and Vice President, Rajasthan SCC, IYA introduced the speaker in the inaugural session.

Shri Swatantra Kumar, Secretary, Rajasthan SCC, IYA gave a brief introduction about the activities and initiatives of Indian Yoga Association. The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. Nirupam Rohtagi, Vice President, Sri Aurobindo Society.

Dr. Nirupam Rohtagi in his address on Savitri apprised everybody present with various topics including soul, yoga, mantra and meditation, kundalini and shakti chakra, God-powers of God, asura / demonic powers, invisible world, the goal of human life, the present state of the mankind, inability of the human heart to see the truth, how can we see the truth, sorrow and pain, destiny, death and other.
Dr. Rohtagi told that Vedas are about 10,000 years old, Upanishads and Gita are about 5,000 years old. Savitri is talking about the same ancient and eternal knowledge once again in the present context. Savitri clarifies and solves the problems of today’s era. Vedas, Upanishads, and Gita are in Sanskrit language. The language of the Upanishads and the Gita is clear, but the Vedas are symbolic and hidden. Savitri has brought to us the same knowledge in English language which is very accessible.
Dr. Rohtagi said that Sri Aurobindo, the author or visionary of Savitri, is the sage of today’s era. Savitri is the Veda of today’s era, composed by the sages of today’s era. The webinar concluded with a Q&A session and Shanti Mantra.
