In a harmonious blend of tradition and purpose, Tamil Nadu State Chapter Committee with Sri Madhwa Yoga Academy hosted a special 15-day Gurukulam-style Yoga Camp to mark the 11th International Day of Yoga. Held from April 26 to May 11, 2025, the camp was an immersive journey into the essence of yoga, aimed at nurturing the body, mind, and spirit.
Conducted in the serene atmosphere of the Academy’s campus, the camp offered a traditional learning experience guided by seasoned yoga practitioners and mentors. Participants engaged in a comprehensive routine comprising asanas, pranayama, meditation, and spiritual discourses—reconnecting with the ancient roots of yogic discipline and self-realization.
In alignment with the global celebration of Yoga Day on June 21st, the initiative upheld the Academy’s guiding mantra: “Yoga Eliminates the Pain – योगो भवति दुःखहा.” This program not only deepened the participants’ understanding of yogic principles but also reinforced the Academy’s mission to promote authentic and transformative yoga practices across Tamil Nadu and beyond.
