Jharkhand SCC organises Yog Vani 

The Jharkhand Chapter of Indian Yoga Association, Jharkhand Neurosciences Society, IMA Ranchi and Rockfield Health came together to organise Yog Vani in IMA Hall, Ranchi. The event was marked with the presence of Dr HR Nagendra, Governing Council Member, IYA and Dr Ganesh Rao, Director Academics & Accreditation Committee, IYA. Both the esteemed dignitaries explained Yoga.

Shri CP Radhakrishnan, Governor of Jharkhand was present as the chief guest. In his address he emphasized on the importance of Yoga. He further added that it is very important to connect the youth with Yoga and also to incorporate Yoga in our lifestyles. He said that a lot more work will be done in this field in a next few years.

Swami Bhaveshanand ji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission gave his blessings. In his address he talked about Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam importance of Yoga. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Jharkhand Neurosciences Society stressed on the importance of yoga for patients to recover completely.
The lecture was organized in two sessions. In the first session, Dr. Ganesh Rao shared information on methods of yoga to relieve stress. Emphasizing on consciousness, he told everyone how to be conscious of the present.
In the second session, Padmashree Dr H R Nagendra discussed about the importance of yoga in lifestyle related diseases. He also informed that SVYASA University has been doing research on these diseases and the results are very encouraging.

The event also saw the presence of Dr Shekhar Chaudhary Kajal, Ranchi IMA President, Dr PN Singh, Dr Anuj Kumar, Dr Manjula, Dr Rashmi Singh and Dr Suman Dubey were mainly present on the occasion. Shri Amit Kumar, Secretary, Jharkhand State Chapter, IYA gave the vote of thanks.
