Annual Exhibition

Yoga Vidya Niketan, Member Institute of Indian Yoga Association held one day program on Annual Exhibition cum lectures on January 14, 2024 at Yoga Bhavan, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. After floral salute to statue of Swami Kuvalayanand and founder of YVN late Yogacharya Padmashri Sadashiv Nimbalkar Guruji, so, also the image of late Capt. Vijay Chitins and late Smt. Jayashree Chitnis, exhibition of Posters prepared and displayed by students of 47th Diploma in Yoga, (Dadar, Vashi & Global branches) over this year’s theme ‘Yoga For Blissful Health’ at the hands of chief guests Dr. Narendra Joshi (Project Director, Vivekananda Probodhini, Borivli, Mumbai) and Dr. Balakrishna Chitnis (Chairman, Vishwa Yoga Darshan Kendra, Miraj, Sangli). Best Posters and best Essay winners were felicitated by the dignitaries on the dias. This year ‘Padmashri Sadashiv Nimbalkar Yoga Mitra Award’ was given to an Institute ‘Arogya Seva Samitee, Panvel’ for preaching YVN’s ‘Four Graded Yoga Course since 1990 by President Dr. Shrikant Badve and Chairman Shri Mahesh Sinkar. Dr. Balakrishna Chitnis expressed his views on the occasion stressing on awareness during Yogabhyas.

Dr. Narendra Joshi in his key note address said that every event in life should be enjoyed, happiness and bliss should be drawn from these. This is Indian culture and philosophy. The chief speaker of the event Dr. Vikas Gokhale who is Architect by profession, delivered lecture on ‘Yoga for Stress Management’ stressed on acceptance of the situation, Ishwar Pranidhan and Karma Siddhant. Day ended with Pasayadan sung by joint secretary of YVN Ms. Sonali Raul.
