Niramaya expands yoga education with 15 programs

Niramaya (Associate Centre of IYA, Accredited by YCB) conducted 15 programs throughout February 2025, including workshops, special sessions, and awareness programs across schools, colleges, RMS, and Assam University.

A key milestone was the launch of a Women’s Special Certificate Course at Women’s College, Silchar. Dr. Sujit Tiwari, Principal of Women’s College, lauded Niramaya’s efforts in advancing yoga education and women’s wellness.
Leading the programs were Shatakshi Bhattacharjee (Director, Niramaya & Zonal Coordinator, IYA), Divya Geetanand Rahul (Legacy Person & Chief Coordinator), Subhankar Saha, and Ratul Chakraborty. Their sessions emphasized holistic well-being, yoga therapy, and mindfulness.
Additionally, Niramaya signed an MoU with Saraswati Smarak Samiti, Silchar, to further promote yoga education, particularly focusing on women’s wellness. Under the leadership of Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharjee (Chairman, Niramaya) and Dr. Sunil Sharma (Academic Director), Niramaya continues to expand its reach and impact in the field of yoga and health.
