A Harit Yoga event was organized at Navals National Academy, Phulwaria Rustampur, Gorakhpur, in collaboration between the Indian Yoga Association and Sunrise Sewa Sansthan Trust.
The event was conducted under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chapter Chairperson Piyushkant Mishra, Amit Garg, Eastern Zone President Dr. Naveen Singh, and Secretary Ashish Tandon.
Students actively participated in yoga sessions and were sensitized towards environmental protection through tree plantation.
Yoga Instructor Dr. Shobhit Srivastava guided students through various yoga asanas and explained the intrinsic relationship between yoga and nature. He emphasized that yoga not only improves physical and mental health but also teaches us to live in harmony with nature.
Key attendees included Principal Shri Ghanshyam Pandey, teachers, and IYA city coordinators like Dr. Anil Yogi, Dr. Shobhit Srivastava, Devendra Shukla, Satyaki Gupta, Umesh Chandra Shukla, Ram Datt Tiwari, and Anand Rao.
The primary goal of the event was to inspire students towards a healthy lifestyle and environmental responsibility through yoga. Students enthusiastically participated in both yoga and tree plantation.
