A grand yoga festival was successfully held at the historic Nau Chouki Pal site in Rajsamand, marking 62 days before International Yoga Day 2025. This event was a part of the nationwide “100 Days, 100 Cities, 100 Organizations” campaign and was organized jointly by Gayatri Parivar Rajsamand, Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (Ministry of AYUSH), and the Indian Yoga Association – Rajasthan Chapter.

The event saw the gracious presence of several distinguished guests including Rajsamand MP Smt. Mahima Kumari Mewar, District Chief Smt. Ratni Devi, BJP District President Shri Jagdish Paliwal, Padma Shri awardee Shri Shyamsundar Paliwal, RSS Udaipur Division Pracharak Shri Harishankar Bhai Saheb, Director of Pratap Gaurav Kendra Shri Anurag Saxena, and key representatives of Gayatri Parivar. The Common Yoga Protocol was performed under the direction of Himanshu Paliwal, Joint Secretary of IYA Rajasthan.
In a symbolic gesture, over 1000 dedicated yoga practitioners performed yoga with the rising sun to the resonating sound of “Om,” creating a spiritually uplifting environment. This event was a remarkable display of quality yoga practice, with most participants being regular practitioners.
Support and presence from various government departments and social organizations added to the success of the event. These included the district administration, police, Ayurveda department, Zila Parishad, Nagar Parishad, and numerous religious and cultural bodies. Among the notable participants were Additional Superintendent of Police Mahendra Parikh, Treasurer Vishal Agarwal, RSS District Pracharak Premshankar, District Coordinator Meethalal Sharma, and several other respected community members and yoga leaders.
